Furnished 2 Bdrm 1 Mile from the LU Campuses
I'm an LU alum who moved to this apartment in 2005 to complete work on my M.Div. Since 2009 I've lived mostly in NYC, where rentals like this go for over 3K per month! Thank God for Lynchburg, where rents are still reasonable! The low price is the... main reason I never gave this comfortable and convenient 2 bdrm rental back to the corporate landlord, even though I haven't lived here year-round since 2012. Since '12 I've been subletting the place to worthies from the LU community. Not trying to make a profit. Just need someone to take care of my place and my furnishings while I'm away, which will probably be for another 1-2 years, maybe longer. This place is ideal for someone who needs a safe, comfortable place close to the LU campuses, which is why I took it all those years ago. The place is comfortably furnished. Queen-sized bed in the master bedroom. Full-sized bed in the guest room. The whole place is furnished, carpeted, and ACed. Got a big screen TV in the living room, a smaller in the master bedroom. Nothing is fancy, but everything is still quite usable (see the video I can send you). Washer and dryer still work. Nice backyard area, plenty of parking space, and a front porch to relax on. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Next door neighbor is an LU alum and cool. And the proximity to LU and Wards Road shopping can't be beat. You could bicycle onto campus in 5 minutes. This is a good deal at a good price, and I could put you in touch with past LU community members who have stayed here. They could tell you more about me and the place to ease your mind about everything, including your fully-refundable security deposit. :)
