We moved to 37 West Apartments from Ohio, sight unseen for work. So, we were apprehensive, but everything turned out better than expected. The apartment is spacious and has all the upscale amenities you could ask for, even free cable channels. The Community Manager, Nicole is extremely helpful and has gone the extra mile for us a few times, putting up with our first-time apartment dweller questions. Nicole is an awesome leasing manager and goes above and beyond to ensure efficient processing of any reasonable requests. They hit the nail on the head when Lynchburg Living awarded them the best Lynchburg apartment complex of 2020. For a reasonable price, you get ultra-convenient amenities. Between our spacious 1442 square-foot 2-bedroom apartment, the 9-foot ceilings, a peaceful balcony, all modern appliances including the washer & dryer and then the extra community amenities, we are ecstatic. We've lived here over a year and a half now, and my husband and two sons & rescue dog Major enjoy the grounds,... apartment, pool and dog run. The 24-hour gym is great for maintaining fitness or meeting new goals. The clubhouse offers a great, quiet place to study or do paperwork. Nicole even makes sure to make extra project tables available to her tenants.

Also, Nicole has proven to be not only an efficient, professional apartment manager, skilled in problem-solving, but also an all-around great person. If you are having an issue, she goes above and beyond to not only solve it, but solve it FAST!

Finally, the location has proven to be an asset as well. Being located right off of Waterlick Road, and being near Timberlake Road as well, you can access 460E or West with respectable ease. We enjoy frequenting the 1727 Moose, which is literally right down the road from our apartment. La Caretta on Timberlake offers great dining environment, drinks and food!

My husband, our two daughters, & I lived at 37 West for over three years before purchasing a home. In fact, while we are happy homeowners now, we still miss living at 37 West. The apartments there are unbelievably spacious & accommodating. They're the closest thing to living in a house that you can get while still enjoying the convenience of apartment living. The residents there are wonderful & are some of our dearest friends. The maintenance team is efficient, professional, & friendly. On-site... management is top-notch & makes it their daily mission to be sure 37 West is the best apartment community around. Unless you are near death, don't rent here. We've been here two weeks and I'm already repacking and trying to figure a way out. The floors are not insulated, you can hear EVERYTHING in the floor, and yet anything above a whisper is considered "excessive". No thanks, I wanted this to be my home, not a prison or library. Definitely not a welcoming place for those with some life still in them.
